Eliana La Ferrara is Professor of Development Economics at Bocconi University of Milan. She holds a PhD in Economics from Harvard University. She has been Visiting Professor at MIT and in several European Universities. She is member of important international research networks and worked as a consultant for the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank. She carries our research activities focus on social aspects of development, such as ethnic identity, social norms, conflict and the role of media.
