I know life would have been much easier if I'd been born taller . As a child I was constantly singled out and bullied because I was short and skinny . I grew up in a rough town and had no siblings to have my back. I took a lot beatings and intimidation from taller or older kids. Mainly from boys in a gang ( even though I was a girl) . Parens and teachers wouldn't get involved . When I became an adult the " beatings" became verbal . Usually men in their 20s ridiculing my height, , making snide mocking comments when they were in a pack and I was walking alone . The abuse was always from white males, never a non white . ( I'm a Caucasian too js)
