As an Irishman living abroad since 2008, and full EV since 2018, it was beautiful to see the great shots of Ireland and hear how well the country has progressed on the EV front. Thanks for this.

Blocked Superchargers by Teslas not charging.. Press the button on the Supercharger connector and plug their car in.. They won't do it again, when it costs then 1 EU per min

We toured Southern Ireland for the first time last year and really enjoyed it. Highlights for me were,
Seeing Father Teds House
Walking on the Cliffs of Moher and the Ferry to see the cliffs from the sea. The drive to the ferry was outstanding too.
Cong where The Quiet man starring John Wayne and Maureen O Hara was made.
The Ring of Kerry
Inch Beach
Kinsale Very pretty and has one of the best Fish and Chip shops anywhere.
Duncannon - we stayed in a lovely B&B overlooking the beach and the pub grub is amazing.
Westport.
Waterville where Charlie Chapman had a holiday home
Dingle is nice but a bit too touristy
Bottom line is if you want a driving holiday then Ireland is an amazing place to come to.

The Kenmare Bay hotel & Resort County Kerry, have 50, yes 50 type 2 chargers fitted at their site. If you book directly with them, they will let you charge for free! The owner is a big Tesla fan.

While we may not have that many chargers, Ireland is pretty small so new EVs have enough range to get most places in one charge!

For a family man, this video was simply amazing and the scenery was fantastic.

I spotted your white Tesla on the road just outside Galway where I live - UK plates with RSEV on the side - only now realised it was you. Glad you had a great time touring Ireland.

Thanks for the video Richard. Just watching from Lacarno Switzerland. Arrived here today via Staffordshire, Le Touquet, Disney Paris, Montuex to Lacarno in our MYLR. It's so easy and made Road tripping fun again. After a week chilling in Lacarno we're heading to Colmar, Spa, Bruge then back home. You can't beat a good road trip.

Great video, you’ve seen more of Ireland in one week than I have in 50 years 😂

Great video and good to see you enjoyed it. I agree that we need more destination chargers around the country. Definitely a chicken or egg situation but it will happen. You were in Ireland the same time I'm in Bristol/Bath testing out Genesis.

Your route here is similar to my first Irish road trip in June 2023 with a 60kWh Nissan LEAF, except I started from Holyhead-Dublin (with charging actually on the Irish Ferries Ulysses) then it was I was doing 200 miles a day and, as I’d ordered an ESB RFID card in advance, I had no trouble finding chargers at the end of each day. This June I did the other half: and similarly had no problems. In fact this year two new networks had sprung up everywhere (EasyGo and WeEV for which an app was sufficient. These opened a lot of destination chargers for me, including a hotel in Galway and the visitor car park at the Titanic Experience). Overall, I’ve found on both occasions that both the Republic and NI are well provided for, given a population similar to NW England. Everything worked

i am a Tesla driver in cork, Ireland, the EV infrastructure is way behind the rest of Europe, they wonder why sales of EV's are down 25% year on year - glad you enjoyed yer trip

Brilliant timing. I live in Surrey and drive to my family home in Dingle, Kerry every year which is where I’m at for the month of August. Usually do the Pembroke-Rosslare route too. This is my last year in my family car - an SQ5. The big question for me is how would an EV manage with the long drive to Dingle which my SQ5 comfortably does in less than one tank of diesel. Having test ridden a MYP and a M3P I’ve decided to replace my family car and own car with both of these, being been particularly tempted by the current 0% finance offer, and also having recently installed solar at home. Thanks for all the great videos you do and glad you enjoyed your trip to Ireland.

Can’t believe you were in Waterford 2 minutes from my house. Just picked up my 3 performance in white too based on your review!
