I'm so old, I remember laughing at this video when MTV was still playing Music

This was filmed in the exact location The Bad video was filmed. Michael jackson was friends with Weird Al and gave him permission and set this up for him. MJ was so impressed with his Eat It parody that they actually struck up a friendship.

Michael Jackson loved Weird Al so much and his parodies that he let him use the official set of 'Bad', gave him free reign and permission to parody any and all of his songs.

There was a time when getting parodied by Weird Al was more sought after than a Grammy.
I honestly think more people know Amish Paradise than Gangsters Paradise.

Weird Al is definitely the GOAT! Who else has had a forty year career, and still appeals to all age groups?

National treasure!

If you wanna hear something hilarious, my sister and I, who were both pretty big at the time, actually came up with an exercise routine to this song. We lost a combined 125 pounds between the two of us that summer.

"Yo! Ding dong, man. Ding dong. Ding dong, yo!" That line is so stupid, it always gets me.

The name of Michael's album was BAD; the name of Weird Al's album was: Even Worse!

It's sacrilege and a crime that Al isn't ALREADY in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. The fact that he DO all the MJ moves in a damn fat-suit, G.O.A.T.

Washingtonian here. Weird Al came to my local highschools' auditorium to perform a full show when I was a kid. My best friend and I saw him and were blown away. He did all the hits, he wore the actual inflating fat suit plus all kinds of different costumes, he ran around in the crowd, dis skits, and after the show stayed long enough to meet all of os his fans. That show and that man will forever have a special place in my heart. 👍

Interesting fact: by law, Weird Al wasn’t and still isn’t required to ask artists in order to parody their music videos/songs - he’s actually mentioned it in a few interviews over the years, but he asks for permission anyway out respect to each artist. 👍🏻

Ok, I'll say it right here: The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will never be considered legitimate until Weird Al Yankovic gets inducted into it. It's taken WAYYY too long!

Fun fact: MJ requested, practically begged Al to do this. Even gave his the number for the same choreographer and the same subway location from Bad

You haven't lived until you see Weird Al perform this song live, he wears the fat suit and does all the dance moves. It's really incredible, he's a great performer.

I like how in Jamal's first Weird Al reaction video he was like "This guy is a fool" and now a few videos later he's like "He should change his name to genius Al". That's pretty much how America's opinion of him has changed over the decades. In the 80s and 90s he was received the same way as Urkel, a total dork but kind of endearing. Now we all recognize his creativity and raw talent for singing and rapping. He has outlasted most of the artists he has parodied. An American icon if you ask me.

"Yo! Ding Dong, man! Ding Dong! Ding Dong! Yo!" That man should have won an Oscar for that!

A lot of "Artists" should consider themselves lucky Weird Al never took an interest in producing pop music in order to get paid,
he can sing, dance, rap, direct and compose as well as some of the greatest out there but instead he's using his gift to make us laugh.

We need more people like that.

I'm 40, pleases me to no end watching the younger generation listening to these classics of my childhood by Weird Al.

Al is a genius not just in music. He was his class valedictorian at 16.

"My shadow weighs 42 pounds..." One of the greatest lines in music history!
