We live in a fascist country at this time...what happened to check and balances

As a person who has lived through dictatorship take overs as well as in the USA, I firmly believe that Americans have been so isolated from the world and realities that majority of people here don't even realize whats happening and how dictatorships start or how super powers are always brought down from within. The country has already More than half way through its process of becoming a dictatorship. You see, any sane relatively informed person knows that GOP is on life support. The new generation will not go with their backward ideology and their only chance to hold on to power is not the democratic way. The only thing that could wake up people enough to realize that just waiting to vote better next time is not enough is if trump was to come out and say people want me to cancel elections.... Remember though, majority of openly dictatorships still hold "elections"! Not that it would surprise me if he did cancel elections. He openly said that if he loses the election is rigged and also that bikers, and cops, etc. (Aka those with muscles and guns) are waiting for his order to get out and sort things out. He has closed every peephole to anyone who is supposed to oversee the administration. His minions are mocking your representatives in congress daily on national TV. They have already changed everyone with any power on top of various organizations. They clearly demand submission even from weather scientists. Your checks and balances are gone; they were never designed to check and balance against an actual dictator take over. I assume the Forefathers believed that people would fight a tyrant off before he is the president.
