It reminded me of my Bangalore and Mysore days. I was there for 8 years for my studies... Inspite of already given crystal clear explanation of where i belong to, almost every morning my landlord kept asking me my currency and from where i came This is the true colour of our own Indian fellows...

The same incident happened with me in Marathahalli area when I booked a Rapido and an auto driver came snatched his keys and beat him up with his helmet...I was left alone helpless along with that rapido guy and no one came forward to help.

It's time we unite and support these folks who are just doing their jobs. We Bangaloreans are tired of the hooligans in this guise of auto drivers, demanding more money, shooing away customers. I, as a Bangalorean and Kannada speaking youth face so many issues with the auto drivers, I can imagine how you'd treat someone from another state. I hope you learn your lessons at least now.

This happened to me on dec 20.. I booked a rapido bike and as soon as he arrive the auto gang behind us came running to us and started hitting the driver and caused damage to his bike.. And later came towards me and said first we need to hit you for installing the app and booking a ride. As soon as I started talking the guy next to me one of the auto driver hit me and it got intense. As soon as the people gathered there, the gang ran away.. Didnt have any proof's of the auto numbers to register a complain.. If they have issues they need to take it to court and get it resolved there legally.. Why are they hitting normal people who are striving for life as they are...

No wonder there's an insurgency in northeast when we don't even consider them our own citizens why would they wanna be part of our country. A country which treats them like shameful. Ofcourse everyone is not like this but the fact that an auto driver can do this with such audacity speaks a lot about our own sense of our country.

What happens if he takes the lady, what happens if he's a paradesi. He's not living under the auto driver's dad. The road is not his dad's. And who said rapido is illegal. Auto department is always bad nowadays. Charging more money. If rapido says 30₹ for 3kms the autoricshaw wala will say 130₹. If rapido is getting banned we don't want autoricshaw too we have government buses right. Ban autoricshaw too.

Dear young Indian brother from North East, don't get intimidated. Minor sporadic incidents like these don't reflect the genuine hospitality and fraternity we have for all of you. We are all Indians and we are as proud of your region as much as anyone else.

Once again Mainland India showing their true colours. Being from Northeast, I see my brothers, uncle's, and male friends in his face, trying to earn a living. My heart goes out to him. The look of fear in his face, knowing full well that he could easily be beaten to death if the situation escalated there.
