Clubland: Beauty and Subculture Through the Ages

i-D presents Clubland, a new film directed by Mexican brothers Santiago and Mauricio Sierra, part of our Beautiful Collaborations project, made possible by Microsoft. The filmmaker duo, alongside visionary New York make-up artist Ralph Siciliano, take us on a fast-paced journey through the evolution of beauty and the style of club cultures past and present. Watch as transgender model Hari Nef, bubblegum-haired cutie Fernanda Ly, and fashion’s newest alien beauty Molly Bair board the technicolour express and travel through some of our favourite subcultures from across i-D’s 35 years - and then some.
