How to remember everything you study:
1. Stories
Form stories that connect with your life and emotions.
2. Imagination
Imagine concepts on a personal level, such as, if
studying about a disease, imagine yourself as the patient with all the symptoms and complications.
3. Images
Whatever you aren't able to imagine, looking at images will help you create a visual connection, increasing retention from 10% upto 65%.
4. Practical learning
We learn and recall better if we actually do/experience the stuff we study about. Attend postings, ask questions, present a case to be a practical learner and apply stuff in real life.
5. Revise and recall
Using Feynman technique and practising accountability is the best way to revise and recall before an exam.
6. Curiosity
This internal motivation to learn called curiosity decreases as we grow up and is replaced by external exam pressure. We study just to score well in the 2-3 hour exam and then we forget everything. Sparking curiosity will help retain a topic much better and also generates interest in studies.
7. Testing
Appearing in as many tests as possible is definitely helpful in assessing your level of preparation in a topic. No matter at what point you are in your preparation, if you've completed a good chunk of your syllabus, appear in grand tests every now and then. Maximise the frequency of testing as the exam approaches.

Can I get a heart....🙂? Plz

I hope every medical student watches your videos especially this one and realises how important every clinic and case and history taking is ...
I remember every patient every case I examined and operated through ug pg and srship... It gives you so much more insight about your work and makes you a better clinician!
History taking and examination in clinical postings is a highly underrated art. Being government college students, we should not miss out on the abundance of patients and cases we get to see.
I wish you a very best for your future and hope you inspire a new and dedicated bunch of medical students across the country!

I have been using these techniques without acknowledging it for such a long time, the one i mostly related was imagining yourself in the patient position actually suffered a lot from menstrual cycles, hypothyroidism, anaemia and some other injuries too and whenever topics related to the things i have faced i respond very well ....this actually happened today too our sir was explaining about ECG and i just kept on nodding my head cuz i absolutely understood it and actually get to know more about it because my heart beat rate was actually once monitored by ECG and after the class my frnd asked if i understood it cuz i kept on nodding my head and i said the same
