What If Vegeta Turned Super Saiyan Against Frieza On Namek?

In this video, I give a scenario in which Vegeta turned SSJ against Frieza and whether or not he would have been able to defeat Frieza had he turned super saiyan against him.

How's about doing a sequel to this vid, this time a What if Vegeta turned Ssj2 against Cell, after he killed Trunks.

Base Vegeta (vs Final Form Freeza) = 2, 400, 000

SSjin Vegeta(Hypothetical, On Namek) = 50 x Base Vegeta = 50 x 2, 400, 000 = 120, 000, 000

100% Final Form Freeza = 120, 000, 000 (which also starts to drain after a while due to stamina issues of Freeza)

Vegeta is also HIGHLY motivated and bloodlusted vs Freeza and is a better fighter.... hell even if he were at like 110, 000, 000, I can still see Freeza having no power advantage in the battle, especially considering that his power will ANYWAY drop down at some point when he is at 100%(just like Golden Freeza vs Goku).

Vegeta wins after a good fight.

Vegeta would have killed frieza. Goku rarely ever goes a hundred percent. It was never established that he went a hundred percent against frieza . Infact he did not evenwant to kill frieza so that leads me to believe goku held back. Vegeta on the other hand knows only one way to fight and that is to go all out he would not have held back. Future trucks defeated frieza easily and frieza was more powerful than he was on namek. So of course vegeta would've beaten frieza.

I always thought Vegeta was one zenkai away from having enough power to turn super saiyan. One could argue a Saiyan needs a certain power threshold in order to access the SSJ transformation, so it's a combination of power + anger. If not, Goku would have turned SSJ in DB when Tambourine killed Krillin, or Gohan against Raditz when Goku was being beaten to a pulp.

I won't use numbers nor power levels because they are all unofficial. Goku's zenkai boost after switching bodies with Ginyu is what propelled him to the level to be able to, let's say, "spar" with Frieza.  I think we can all agree Vegeta, after getting healed by Dende, was MILES stronger than Goku before his Ginyu zenkai.

Now, that behing said, I think Vegeta was only one zenkai away to be strong enough to turn Super Saiyan. If Dende hadn't been killed by Frieza, and had Vegeta survived Frieza's beam to the chest, I think THAT ZENKAI would've been enough for him to be head and shoulders stronger than Post-Ginyu-Zenkai Goku, and would have thrashed Frieza had he turned Super Saiyan right there, instead of Goku.

But of course, it's all hypothetical.

Goku went from 180k+ to 3 million Zenkai boost. Vegeta underwent at least 3 zenkai boost and still wasn't able to reach 3 million. To me, this is just pure bullshit Vegeta's power level as a kid was 10k, Goku not even a year ago was weaker than Raditz. BULLSHIT. At the end of the day there's no logic in DBZ it's just whatever Toriyama wants it to be.


Oh yeah and Frieza destroyed Vegeta's entire planet, along with the father he loved. That should be far more than enough motivation. Frieza killed Krillin big deal. It's just one guy who could be brought back with the dragon balls it isn't like Krillin hasn't died before.

I think something like this would've happened:
Vegeta about to die at Frieza's hands, for some reason, turns into a SSJ. When Goku turned he recovered all of his energy. If this wasn't the fact, hew would've lost because, after he throwed the Spirit Bomb to Frieza he could barely stand on his feet. So Vegeta recovers from a certain death, this also means a Senkai Boost, so Vegeta was at this moment at a basic form power of 150K or so (He beated Jeice who had around 60K, and after Dende saved him, he had around 120K). Goku probably had 180K-220K. Vegeta's power would be high enough as to beat Frieza, not as high as Goku's, but enough. Besides, even if Vegeta couldn't beat Frieza as a SSJ, don't you think that fight would be long enough to give Goku time to recover? When Goku arrives, Vegeta is a SSJ fighting a 100% power Frieza very tired and loosing energy. 2 v 1, Frieza has no chance.

I feel vegeta would've killed frieza and not given him time to reach 100%. Then again, he did let cell reach perfect form but he hated frieza and would've killed him without seeing his maximum. He also would've finished the job, unlike goku.

No super sayain can lose to frieza, not even kid goten or trunks. Even the most basic super sayain form can beat frieza that's the whole point of super sayain period.

Dude why are you using Dub logic? Frieza NEVER said he was using 1% of his power, its in the manga and its in DB Kai. So why did you use that error dub line is beyond me especially since you said you read the manga. And to answer your question, Vegeta power level was 2, 400, 000 and Super Saiyan Multiplier is 50x. Ssj Vegeta would be at 120, 000, 000, which is equal to Frieza 100% which is also 120, 000, 000. So the fight could go either way.

when Vegeta fought Frieza on Namek, his max power level, after he got his last zenkai boost, was 2.4 mill, which means if he went super Saiyan, it would be 120 mill, making him exactly as strong as Frieza 100% power.

Bear in mind Goku had to let Frieza fight at 100% power. It required a large charge time. Vegeta might not have let Frieza reach his 100% if his hatred for Frieza out weighed his desire for battle.

I've never read the manga, and even I know that that line about 1% was a mistranslation from DB forums ans such.
Goku and vegeta's powerlevels were probably about about the same in this saga, with Goku's massive edge coming from his use of the Kao ken; hell his training in the trip to namek basically consisted of mastering the technique and he got to the point that using kaoken x1 - x9 he didnt even have to call it out, it came naturally to him.
of course, the kao ken and the SSJ forms are not compatible, so vegeta going super saiyan would have placed him in the same level as goku SSJ.
basically, if Vegeta had gone SSJ, he woulda killed the shit outta freiza and everybody else and conquered the earth because he hadnt become a true good guy yet.
