Metro Manila - International Trailer

Seeking a brighter future in megacity Manila, Oscar Ramirez and his family flee their impoverished life in the rice fields of the northern Philippines. But the sweltering capital's bustling intensity quickly overwhelms them, and they fall prey to the rampant manipulations of its hardened locals. I'm now in tears after the movie. A sad, but a great and very moving masterpiece!

The story tells us a lot about the real world in manila where poor people come to meet and define their fate. The story is cleverly written and beautifully performed and above all it was showed in vue cinema as a special charity screening for typhoon haiyan victims. It seemed surreal to actually watched this film in england.

Pretty good movie... I wish more movies like this are being made in the Philippines. Unfortunately films like this are under appreciated.

In my point of view the noble writer tells the cruelty and selfish greediness of humans not even in Philippines but in some countries. Its up to you which side will you went in weather murderous tyrants or die poor in starvation. So sad people does not care each other its like a pandemic created by oligarchs. God Bless Us All.

Well made movie. The cast, crew and especially the director, Sean Ellis did an excellent job. I also enjoyed his prior movie, Cash Back.
