Outline: In this supernatural thriller, Paul Sturges (played by Josh Lucas of Yellowstone fame) faces off against an age-old myth in a battle for survival. When Sturges takes his family to Bahia Negra, a once-vibrant coastal town where his top-performing oil rig is located, he finds that the town has deteriorated into a ghostly ruin. The last remaining inhabitants warn him that his offshore platform has awakened an ancient creature known as The Black Demon, a legendary shark unlike any other. As the family becomes trapped on the rig and the creature begins to attack, Paul must find a way to save his loved ones before time runs out and the rig crumbles beneath them.

Also starring Fernanda Urrejola (Cry Macho), Raúl Méndez (Sense8), and Julio Cesar Cedillo (Sicario), The Black Demon is directed by Adrian Grünberg (Rambo: Last Blood) from a script by Boise Esquerra.
