Correction, Tiche is a she .... she's the daughter of the black knife ringleader you fight to obtain her spirit ash. Also, after she carried me through multiple bosses (Including Malenia and Moghwyn) I've become really fond of her

Those are situational, as you level up your mimic will grow, don’t forget. Otherwise bkt is best aggro.

I'm on NG+ to get the last 2 Trophies I missed. Just started it last night so still really early on. I'm not happy at all they nerfed the mimic this morning because on NG+ the bosses are way more aggressive. Luckily I leveled up Black Knife to level 10 on my last playthrough but never used it. I have 1 level 10 ghostwort that I have not used yet. I guess I will be looking up YouTubes to find out a tank summon with long rang abilities

Mimic tear -CANT- switch weapons (never happened to me, but then be ready for it and better remove your gear from the slot to fight that). What you summon it with is what you get. It can only switch spells, consumables and twohand/onehand the weapon (so if you want your mimic tear to only have two shields and a dozen of throwable knifes - have all that on you while you summon your mimic and only then switch to your normal gear)

Black knife Tiche isn't that good against a large group but she does have some group damaging moves and the more she kills the easier she takes out the remaining enemies

I mainly use the mimic tear but the summon is so slow like it takes forever to start hitting the enemy in my next playthrough imma use tiche and see whats she is like

You're looking at them completely wrong here. It's not about what bosses they're best with, it's about how you BUILD for it, and when you consider that, the Mimic tear is a clear winner and they're not even in the same ballpark. Tiche is definitely better if you're using a very glass cannon offensive character with lots of versatility and lots of steps involved in making the build work. For example, Comet Azur strats. This often requires you to have a variety of spells and weapons, and the Mimic Tear will be confused on which ones to use. It's not going to know to cast Tera Magicus then use Royal Knight's Resolve then use Comet Azur. It's not going to know to use Sword of Night and Flame instead of the dagger you also have equipped. Even when it does pick the sword, it's not gonna know to use the magic weapon art instead of the fire one. There's a ton of imperfections with mimic tear that simply comes down to the AI itself. Lucky for us, we get to choose exactly what the AI has access to. If you don't want to actually build your character with your Mimic Tear in mind, by all means use Tiche. Buuuut if you're willing to throw a tiny bit more work into making the most OP spirit in the game, keep reading.

Build yourself with the best armor and defensive Talismans you can equip, have 1 good weapon choice in your right hand (nothing else), and a sacred seal in your left (doesn't matter which one but ideally the Golden Order seal or something else with a lot of scaling) then put on exactly 1 spell, and let that be your strongest healing spell (if you're already in endgame you probably have Erdtree heal which is the best option here). What's gonna happen is your Mimic tear will ONLY fight with that one weapon because it doesn't have any other option, and when it decides to use a spell, it'll heal itself to Max HP. With this alone, your mimic tear can survive indefinitely and eventually solo bosses for you. Sure, it doesn't deal as much damage as Tiche, but it also doesn't need to. It can still consistently and aggressively pull aggro forever and take on entire fights completely by itself. Give the mimic tear enough time, it'll outdamage Tiche simply because it'll never die while Tiche eventually will. Tiche is great for bulky bosses, but there's not a single boss even in NG+ and beyond that mimic tear won't be a complete game changer during

Mimic tear refuses to dodge attacks it can easily dodge or uses magic at the worse time

The mimic is the best hands down, there are situations depending on your build or boss that another might come close. For example the summon that builds scarlet rot for Radahn.
