This brings tears to my eyes. My daughter is autistic and for the longest time we couldn’t communicate with her and then when she found her ‘voice’, all we wanted to do is Salah .
Alhamdulilah she performed umrah ( with little difficultly ) but Alhamdulilah. She offers her Salah with us everyday and has started doing tasbeeh on her fingers which is so hard for her cause she cannot move her fingers without being told to do it.
Life is hard for her but when she does salah or take interest in Quran we feel blessed and more connected to Allah swt.
Btw she even fasted for 8 hours this Ramadan. We were super proud of her. Even with no speech she is doing so much MashaAllah. BarakAllahu lak !

It's so comforting to hear brother Menk praise these virtues. As a Muslim who lives in non Muslim country I was shocked to hear pope Francis thoughts on the disabled in society. Alhamdulliah we are lucky to have scholars that not only dispell that myth but down right rubbish it.

SubhanAllah, And Alhamdulillah Having a special needs child myself is not easy at times but the concern for us as parents is to try our best and implement the Islamic ways, but it can sometimes be challenging and a worry. They indeed our entry to paradise and indeed a gift sent to us. May Allah grant each and every child with disabilities recovery, May Allah make it easy and guide us all as parents to guide them and remind them of Allah in the best possible way insha Allah, Aameen
Beautifully said Mufti menk. Jazakallahu khairen

This was so moving. I remember when I was 7 years old and my father drove the bus for the mentally challenged, there was a lady who always was so excited to see me. Her name was Rosie. She made me one of those knitted potholders and I thought she was so thoughtful. I can remember thinking even at that young age that when you extend love to someone, no matter who they are they may appreciate it more than you know.

SubhanAllah! الله will give extra rewards to those parents who can deal with the disabled by HIS mercy! HE chose those parents for reasons we don't understand and don't need to! Only HE knows why! May الله make it easy for them moving forward! 🤲 اللهم امين

All praise due to Allah,
My mother always told all authorities. That her child is a special gift from Allah ( SWT ). Although all children are gifts from Allah we cherish these invaluable precious children and with Allah's blessings raise them to the best possible way.
We can make dua for everyone that may Allah guide us 🤲🤲🤲 Ameen
