In price/performance still unbeatable - together with my Wiim Mini connected to the Aiyima A07 Pro amp and Dali Oberon 3 speakers. It sounds absolutel fantastic ! And I have a lot of old and expensive amps without a DAC to compare with.

This little thing is really great for the price. I bought one a couple of years ago to run from my tv optical out to active speakers RCA. One other thing it only supports PCM from memory.

Very good DAC for this price. Probably the best bargain in my life so far. I was shocked how much improvement I heard, going from cheap chinese DACs, that were not that that far in the price tag (the Fiio costs about 40$, when the chinese, no-name DACs can cost even up to 20$). Definitely recommend it for most it should be good enough

I have these on all tvs in the house that are connected to a basic stereo. It beats all 3.5mm tv outs

I don’t know if you’ve heard about the new Fiio BTR 3, but it seems like a very promising option for people trying to connect a phone without a headphone jack to their headphones without bluetooth. A review from you would be great.

I really wish you had gone into more detail on the sound to be honest. I had this same dac for a couple years before getting really into audio. About a year ago I upgraded to a magni 3 and hd650's from hd598's and a really crappy headphone amp and decided to continue to use this dac because so many people online talked about how great it was. I was not super impressed with my new headphones/amp over the old setup. I just assumed it was my ears not being good enough to hear the difference. But then I decided to just get a modi 2 and compare that dac to this one and everything changed. It was absolutely night and day difference. I know this might seem pretty obvious but what I read online was everyone praising this dac for being so great. Nobody made it clear that even though it is great for its price, it will not compete with a higher end dac

Just recently bought the kz zs 10 and the audio Technica m40x, didn't know what I've been missing all this years. The next step I think, it's to buy a dac... I started saving for a monoprice 1060. is the fioo e10k enough of good music listening, because as far as i know it doesnt have mic input. Or doesn anyone know of something which does both?

I have a question. My computer does the same thing. It is clean with no noise and the headphone output feeds my home receiver and headphone amp with no issues. Everything sounds wonderful. So is a DAC needed in every situation? I once messaged a high-end DAC company and asked if I would be able to tell if one of their DAC's would make an improvement on my listening. He said in reply, that he wouldn't be able to say so. At least he was honest.

would this work well for low impedance IEMs? like the KZ ZS10 pro? i have the dac x-6 and get very noticable buzzing. and when plugged directly into my computer i still get a slight buzzing sound.
