In Asia culture, there is high peer pressure expectation environment from friends, parents, colleagues, clients, etc. I oppose them all & it should not be influence control by someone else.. There is nothing wrong being single & its the best time to enriching yourself with valuable holistic personal development. most important, you're happy! Whether you are right to choose to be single or in relationship? you are right! you know yourself better & prepare to choose the route confidently. Wonderful sharing brother.. The Lord bless you!

Great job Pete! I’m now 67 and have always been single. I concur it can have its advantages. Under your fourth point of investing in oneself; there’s one additional facet you could have mentioned: Because time is more available, it’s easier to spend MORE quality time with the Lord! And no investment pays greater dividends!
Speaking for only myself—I decided some years ago to no longer contemplate the possibility of marriage. You see, I know myself quite well; and I don’t multi-task at all well. If I was married, the energies needed to maintain that relationship would interfere with my ability to give my all to the Lord. It’s hard for me to split my attention. It’s just the way I am. So while most people are designed for marriage, I recognize for myself, it’s better to remain single. And as a lifelong single, I can concur with your observations.

I vowed at 22 never to marry. 63 and still single. Never had a relationship and never will. Not a people person and I enjoy my freedom too much.

Hi Pete! I'm about to turn 32 and still single because I had a few failed relationships with narcissists. So this journey of embracing being single is amazing!
