Hi Alisha it's a Ibrahim I want to ask a question about past perfect.
Uses
1. Used to talk about one event happened before another past event
2. it used to talk about about one event continued up before another past event
3. It is used to talk about 1 event happened before specific time
🙋🙋🙋Past perfect for single event🙌🙌🙌
1. We use past perfect also for showing single event like in storytelling
Like
I decided to go America with my friends my friends back their bags and then we went to airport my dad told me that I would see so many different kinds of people in
Exactly like here I use Pass Perfect without past simple just because of there was a context to use the past perfect.
5. We also use past perfect when someone ask question in past perfect form like
😌😌Had you seen it before ?
😌😌yah I had seen it .
Like I used Past Perfect without past simple
But we don't use past perfect for showing single event all the time except for using it in story telling and answering the question.
Like
1. I had seen it
2. They had watched it.
In this two example there was only a single event happened in the past and one person used it in past perfect so it is wrong because there had to be a one context to use the past perfect or a past simple event just because of this past perfect was wrong correct Me Alisha if I am wrong
