Thanks for letting me know about the negatives for the last trimester ultrasounds. I can’t get my ultrasound done because of insurance issues. This gives me peace about it That it’s OK it’s not gonna happen.

I did want to do the 3rd trimester ultrasound because I wanted to know if baby was head down so I could do spinning babies if I needed to and not have a more challenging birth. I know baby could change positions. This is helpful info!

Thank you for addressing ultrasounds! I have been getting them because they detected borderline high amniotic fluid and want to continue to monitor. I really don’t want to get more ultrasounds done but the pressure to give in to monitoring is so real because if I say no it makes me feel like I’m being a bad mom. I’m glad and reassured though and everything will turn out okay!

I had my first baby at 40 weeks and 3 dats while my second baby at exactly 38 weeks. Both were delivered via CS. My firstborn was delivered via Emergency CS coz he already pooped inside and my labor is not progressing any longer. My second was delivered via Elective CS coz I was afraid to experience the same. Also, here in the Philippines if you had a CS you are expected to have a repeat CS on your next birth.

Question, I am being told I have “too much amniotic fluid” and “your baby is measuring bigger than normal” so they want to induce. Can I say no to a suggested induction? My OB only advised me to get one to avoid any complications arising. But I feel like I’d be okay to wait…
