THE HUNGER GAMES is an especially good teaching book and movie for authors and screenwriters of all genres and all levels.

Everything in your book or script depends on what you SET UP in your ACT I, so it really pays to get familiar with the essential story elements found in Act I of all stories!

The best way to do that is to go through the Act Ones of several movies in a row, watching for these elements and how the storytellers handle them. If you do this with three movies in a row, you suddenly will find it amazingly easy— and a lot faster!— to do it with your own book or script. In this video we continue with the essential elements of THE HUNGER GAMES
