China's Xi Jinping Arrives in Buenos Aires Ahead of G20

Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Buenos Aires ahead of the G20 summit, which brings leaders of the world's 20 top industrialized countries together to discuss issues such as trade and climate change.
U.S. President Donald Trump says the United States is "very close" to a deal with China on tariffs, as he heads to the G-20 summit for highly anticipated talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping aimed at defusing long-running trade tensions.
Trump added Thursday that "I don't know if I want to do it," and that "I like the deal we have now," in remarks to reporters at the White House prior to departing for this week's summit in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Trump once made fun of Obama for not getting a red carpet when traveling to another country. He also said that if he didn't get a red carpet welcome he would turn around, get back on the plane and leave. Hahahaha

This video speaks a thousand words. No other president got such a reception. I could think of few reasons:
1. This shows the growing might of China at a global stage
2. Argentina facing an economic crisis is desperate to woo Chinese president for some "special economic deal/package"
3. "Money speaks", It's an indirect invitation for Chinese to look South America as a good prospect and consolidated their position globally
4. Xi kissing/hugging a kid shows his humanity and thus propagate Chinese culture. Chinese want to reassure the world as there are many misconceptions in the West (labelling "communist")
