I enjoyed the "keep it simple stupid" tone throughout the video. I have watched a ton of videos and tried to learn the most I am able too from YouTube in the past 3 years all related to car audio. At a certain point someone like me could over think some aspects of tuning. Keep it simple stupid. And definitely trust your ears. Great video 👍

The gain should be tuned with a multimeter. It’s easy. The square root of your total wattage multiplied by ohms.
Example: 1500W x 1ohm=1500. Square root of 1500 is 38.72. Hookup multimeter, turn your head unit to clipping(or 80%of max volume if you don’t know). Gradually increase gain until you meet the number(this case 38.72).

If you don’t know the square root. Simply type “square root of into google and you’ll get your answer.

Just what I needed. Found that my subs are playing unnecessary frequencies and it sounds very weird. I adjusted my LPF but not my Subsonic filter
