The library I work with basically said the days of consideration/sync fees, at least for them, are long gone and the main money is just royalties now. Luckily, those are the best thing to have.

Consideration fees are almost becoming a myth if it still exists. Stop and think about it logically for a minute and ask why would a library pay me a fee on a track that there's no guarantee for it to get placements? Unless a library has the richest clients in LA and extremely strong connections with top-notch directors and supervisors with humongous budgets, I see no reason for a library to pay me this fee. If I am a library, I won't pay producers to avoid money loss. I just put myself in their place too. And let me get this straight, is it a fee paid for every track I submit? 🙁 If so, it should be called a "Cumulative Loss". Just my opinion and correct me if I am wrong
