I did a 14 day water only fast at the TrueNorth Health Center in Santa Rosa, CA to heal my Interstitial Cystitis and CRPS and I share my daily and refeeding experience as well as post-fast experience.

Thank you for sharing! I am wondering, did they do other checks apart from temperature, blood pressure and weight? Did they analyse your blood regularly? (You mention that on day 5 your blood results came in, but I did not understand whether they analysed your blood regularly or only once? (for example for electrolytes?). Would you advice against doing this at home, if you check your vitals daily? (I live in Italy and it's not very easy for me to go to the TrueNorth Health Center).

Thank you for sharing your water fasting experience. Its surprising how strong food can taste when you haven't eaten in several days! Also, thanks for the reminder to slow down and chew well when eating. I need to work on that :)
Did your weight end up going back to what it was before the fast?

I just tried to complete a long-term water fast but on the morning of day 9 I had severe dizziness that lasted for almost an hour. Because of that I broke the fast. I think the possible cause is that I spent several hours during days 7 and 8 on hard yardwork (digging, moving pavers, etc.) Does that sound reasonable?

the way I fast, is dry fasting during the day and water fasting during the night. I fast at home for one week and still go to work for few hours. good luck
