ありがとうございます。とても面白いです。I live in the United Kingdom and the issues the young people talked about in your video are the same here. My Daughter is 39 and works in advertsing like the first gentlemen you spoke with, her salary is similar but she had to leave London as her rent for a tiny apartment was nearly $2000 per month and became far too expensive. Now she lives on the coast in a small town and pays around $850 per month. That is expensive when compared with the rents mentioned in your video however, her new apartment is bigger than the average Japanese Mansion with two bedrooms and a small office. I think inflation has been a problem for all countries and this particularly affects younger people. Regarding tourists, I love to visit Japan becasue of the people and the culture. It helps now the exchange rate is better between the Yen and the Pound but that is not my main reason for visiting. I truly appreciate Japanese culture and wish some Japanese values could be adopted by British people such as, respect for others. Traditionally English people were very respectful, kept their own space and treated other well but the U.K. is becoming increasingly influenced by American culture which in my view is very selfish and self centred. よよありがとう頑張ってください.

when I was in highschool in 2011 I wanted to study abroad in Japan, but it was far too expensive 1 dollar was only 80 yen. the Japanese people were one of the biggest groups of tourists here in America, but few Americans could afford to study in Japan in those days. Now so many of my friends and family are visiting Japan, I will be visiting Tohoku and Shikoku in October.

That's a Tokyo thing. Basically, the central part of Tokyo is more than twice as expensive as other Japanese cities in terms of rent, etc. I have lived in a local city in Kansai for more than 20 years, and I don't feel that the cost of living has become that much more expensive.
