A beginners guide and walkthrough (following the procedure linked below) to starting and programming the Airbus A380 from cold and dark in Microsoft Flight Simulator. We use Simbrief to shortcut programming the flightplan - I will record another video soon showing the process of manually programming flight-plans into the Airbus A380 MCDU :)

The numbers you plugged for the V speeds are actually the flap retraction, slat retraction and minimum clean speeds.
V2 of 190 is a bit too high

Thank you so much, now I see what I was doing wrong. Time to go fly! Except for one thing, I can't sort out the name of the switch for the engines at the base of the throttle to engage the engines. I am trying to map those to switches on my HOTAS, but no matter what I set, it never seems to work.

13:40 you forgot trim (next to flaps field) in the MCDU. And according to real life pilot sequence of ground power is 2 3 4 and 1 it should speed up the display becoming alive.

After watching your so called procedure, i have to tell you that you have missed so much out, this will only confuse people and leave them scratching their heads when issues occure, please tell the whole story and not bits and bobs of it.
