Today I had to take an MRI scan for 30 minutes. There's a reason I got a headache after it.

No but hear me out! It was my first MRI scan. I looked it up and I saw the horror videos, the nosies and all. I have anxiety so thought it would affect me in the moment (and it did) but once you’re in there you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do. Just lay there and keep your eyes closed!!! It’s not as bad as any of the scary videos you’ve seen. Like I said, lay there with eyes closed until it’s over and it goes by quick!! Not sure why it gets such a bad rep as it does.

I had a hard time in one today. I had to bring my arms up above my head. Then my back started hurting. I was in one for about 30 minutes and it definitely definitely definitely wasn't comfortable. I am glad I am done I pray that I don't have to go thru that again. I also pray 🙏 for anyone else having to go thru this and other medical procedures. Prayers for a speedy recovery 🙏🙏🙏

MRI's are annoying but sometimes the annoyance and loudness is necessary to get a diagnosis

Be careful because in most exams when you are inside the machine you may feel like peeing or pooping, rarely feeling like vomiting. You may also feel like your head starts to hurt, your ears start to shake, you may feel like coughing or butterflies in your stomach. Most of the time the machine will make bird sounds, sounds like a phone vibrating, sounds like knocking on the door and other sounds.

I was once in a mri machine you can feel the sou d in your body its so wierd (or maybe its just me)

I had an hour long mri today.. its noisy and a bit claustrophobic.. but.... find your favourite 120-140bpm music and jam with the noises

i’ve had two both over an hour and thirty minutes long i wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. Closest you can get to being alive in a casket lol… AWFUL gut feeling getting slid back into that skinny but somehow still HUGE tube of magnets

What gets me through an mri is imagining a dance beat to these sounds since they are rhythmic. Dancing in my head!
