My Profile:

I was born and raised in Chicago, but after working 12 years in the financial Industry regulating the futures and options markets at the CME/CBOT I decided to pursue my passion fishing professional tournaments and left my full time corporate job. At that point, I moved to Junction City, WI with my wife Sara and two boys Hank and Duke. I've been fishing professionally since 2011 and full-time since 2015. I've qualified for seven MLF Championships and won over a half million in tournament winnings at the professional level.

Of all the techniques, fishing a jig is my fav and most used, but in most of techniquas the most important part to me, is the hook! IMO .... only 1% have close to the right hook.

What about the angle the weed guard come off the head and the gap between the weed guard and hook point? Any preferences on those?

I got me some tabs before skirt material got scarce during the supply chain issue but you could go a little more in-depth into your rigs for your creature baits for if you're going to swim them without a jig head I know they have waited hooks which do not have a head but the different angles of the tagline attachment how to deal with rocks especially video was great just need more info LOL

I really enjoy the lure breakdown videos

As it relates to skirts, can you easily trade out skits, ie change colors, go from short to long, and vice versa, but then reuse a skirt that had previously been on a jig? Or is this a once used you are finished from using a skirt again. Thank you.

I really liked this video. Never thought about the parallel vs perpendicular line ties but it makes perfect sense. Thanks for the tip. Sorry about the MLF Team outcome but those days make the good days so much better!

Good video as usual, just an FYI, the camera was not focusing on the jigs when you were going over things. You could still make out what you were talking about but would have been nice to be in focus. Watched the MLF competition today, hate that you guys were not able to run into a group of fish, was pulling for you guys to make it to the final round. Thanks for the detailed jig information, I like these types of videos but would love to hear more about color and water temp, season etc. What are good starting points for which jig type, color to throw when, etc...thanks.

These are great videos. I hear all these terms and names, but I'm not really sure what they all mean? Went fishing on the Rum River throwing "a jig" and was completely stuck on wood, rocks and everything else until I gave up and left. Anyway thanks for these and more videos like this would be great!
