If you want the top cover off without breaking the clip on tabs off...
Heat the metal housing with a butane torch lighter.
This releases the glue, and the cover pops right off.
Be careful with the lighter not to get too close...you won't even damage the paint, or the plastic

I have a question for the rear light, can I connect it to the switch cables from my controller so when I turn on the scooter it also turns on?

Two things wrong so far, first of all those are Phillips screw 2nd thats a 18650 3.7v battery. Just note also the moment you move these scooters they send a constant location status to home base subsequently the cops. If your planning on stealing more of these definitely plan where you are

For anyone doing this make sure you don't take it home to remove the gps cuss they will come knocking on your door talking about hi sir have you seen our 🛴 that's when u say seen your scooter wtf why would I see your scooter some dip shit decided to do this to a bird scooter right next to my building and the dork squad showed up I'm like when did it go off line ummm 4days ago I'm like nope but your more then welcome come in and look but they were scared and left said bird would send them a free one anyways
