I would buy once:
1. Built-in S pen
2. "tear-drop" crease like in other foldables
3. similar size to Vivo X Fold (so slightly larger size)
4. battery of at least 5000mAh or higher
5. 1TB option is available given there is no microSD support

Yes Jaime. I am with you on the s pen being housed in the Z Fold 4. This would have made it more enticing. The s22 ultra is such a success for this reason alone not to mention the rest of the Notes.

A better more aggressive starting price for starters, plus a better implementation of the UI for the fold native applications. The S-Pen will be a gift if there’s support for it but I would not buy it just because it comes with it. Pricing is the BIG one for me, the is the 4th gen, if you want to sell more, make it more affordable for the average enthusiast to buy it, just saying!

I would like to see a fold ultra and fold lite. The former being bigger, having a camera like the s22 ultra, and built in spen. The latter being smaller, a cheaper build, and less features. I would think it would be a win-win for Samsung, the customers, and the mobile community. I wouldn't mind spending on an ultra fold

Biggest thing I was looking for in the Fold 4 is a 5000mAh can live without SPen, but can't live with mediocre battery life

Main thing to get me to buy a Z Fold is a built-in S Pen.

Samsung would need to ditch their aspect ratio to get me back into a Z Fold. The Oppo Find N and Vivo X Fold make way too much sense, and Samsung needs to fix their current aspect ratio.

Built-in S-Pen is a must and a shorter, but wider format. They could have increased the width by 5 mm to a more conventional format and reduce the height 1 cm. That way they would have won enough space for the S-Pen and to re-arrange the internal components.
For those still using ancient measure systems, 5 mm is equal to 0.0003257 feet + 2 fingers and one eyelash.

I feel like the fold has evolved to the point where I am going to buy one. Honestly, though, it really should have an S-Pen built in if they really want it to be the 'next generation power mobile device' like the Note was. I feel like it's coming, though, and probably the next generation so that they can get me to spend money again...

I currently have a Fold 3 that I love, and this is not enough to entice me to upgrade to the 4. This is coming from a habitual annual upgrader too. I'd like to see them have a more elegant solution for the s-pen (although I love the size) and a better selfie camera. I do like that they seem to be making it wider though.

I have the s21 ultra on a 2yr plan and was planning on my next phone being the fold 5, so I'm gonna wait this one out but after the 4th I want to see this:
Necessary-
-Bigger battery (at least 5k-5.5k)
-All S22 ultra grade cameras
-Wider outside screen
Not as necessary but would love-
-S Pen tucked in
-Better UDC (or none at all)
-Less crease

Price of course is somewhat of a sticking point but the battery life, especially with 4400 mAh, would be a tough sell for me as a 5000 mAh size is quite common for flagship standard phones and this phone will probably challenge those limits.

2 wants for a future fold. Spen, outerscreen to be the same as the s22 ultra which will in turn make for a larger main display.

Z-fold four is not much of an upgrade this year from the Z3.

I love the idea of the huge canvas that the Fold 4 can provide. But I also love running and to carry a tick and heavy phone can be a problem ... Carrying water bottles in already heavy enough. Hopefully the Flip 4, that is more compact and lightweight, will also bring the SPen support and unfortunately between the two foldable phones I would go with the Flip 4 then.

-"Lite" option that is closer to the Z Flip's price even at the cost of things like a plastic build/the hidden camera/s-pen/maybe the SoC

If Samsung does that for their Z Fold lineup it likely will fully make foldables mainstream
