Would this be the same on a Hitway Bk29 ? It came without throttle, however has the adapter which I purchased separately. Plug and play, but when I twist the throttle it does nothing 😢

Can you deactivate the unwanted, intrusive darned pedal-assist and ONLY use the throttle ? Can the PAS wires be physically disconnected? If not I ain't buying one. I the rider-owner want to decide when I need power not have "pensioners'pedelec" pedal-assist kicking in all the time. It also increases range if ebike-riders can activate power only when we need it or want it using only the throttle with no interfering pedal assist!!
