She’s saying Asians don’t say “I love you” through by actually saying it. Yes there are Asians who do say I love you but it’s usually the modern generation of Asians. They do it with cutting up fruits for their family members. Fruits are regularly given as gifts in Asia.

100 agreed. My dad would never bring me expensive stuff but cutting fruits like watermelon pr papaya would bring him joy. Still does. My grandma would spend the whole afternoon cutting pomegranate and bring it to me on a dish. And for that i am grateful.

Oh my goodness! That is so appetizing! 😋 I love fruit and veg si much, how I'm not a vegetarian I do not know! Even when I was pregnant, I craved for fruit n veg so much! My complexion was glowing and beyond! 🥰💫

That's so true 🤣😍. Asian grandparents and parents peel and cut all fruits for kids to eat. I don't even eat apple 🍎 still today unless someone peel and cut it for me. 😂

Soooo true. I am a mother of someone still my mother serves me like that whenever I visit her. Once a year to be specific.
She herself likes to be served similarly as well, when she visits someone.
Showing love and affection through food is so oriental I guess. Or Asian.

I get that. I’m upset my boyfriend doesn’t help more with the house, but also get annoyed when he does and it looks half assed. I’ve learned to just be grateful he’s trying, but I get it.
