We LOVE Denver Botanic Gardens. Love the Japanese garden. Saw the Bonsai trees, and really enjoyed them. But now I have a new eye for them since I plan on trying a couple. Hope to go back to the gardens in the summer of 2020. Thanks for this video. ❤

I like how stoked and exited you are for your own native material. It's time to take american bonsai to the next level.

Glad to see you enjoyed the Rockies as well as the Botanic Gardens, living on the front range I see gorgeous material every time I go up into the mountains. Would love to see you come back to collect and work on some wild specimens.

All I could imagine when he said that "They shipped the teahouse, and they shipped the artist carpenters back over to reassemble it" was opening a shipping container and having a bunch of japanese men run out carrying parts for the teahouse and reassembling it in front of the shipping container.

Lovely niwaki and hardscape! (I’m into niwaki and J gardens.. not really bonsai)
I wish there were more Americans into niwaki that could teach us.
Imagine a Bjorn, Ryan Neil or Valavanis ...but with niwaki!! 👏✨✨ ...but, none exist and I can only dream 😞
...or, try to translate Japanese 😂
