My journeyman can yell at me, call me stupid, make me do stupid work, whatever. As soon as you start messing with my stuff, especially expensive stuff, there will immediately be a problem. That’s a line you don’t cross unless you’re willing to get punched in the face

Had my supervisor glue my steel toes down to a large plastic inlay on the ceiling 20ft up. (I take my steel toes off on my lunch break) I sat down and told him have fun. Since super decided to remove my shoes i aint working. He tried to send me off work site, said im getting paid for morning half only then. I disagreed, i was getting paid for full. Buddy sent me the video of my super actually being the one gluing it. I told him i will get paid full pay until my boots were returned with adhesive removed fully. After a convo with onsite manager he agreed with me. Super was delegates the job. A job that took him 3 hours cuz he had to completely remove the adhesive and its a bitch. The entire time i sat with the manager shooting the shit while helping returning calls. Miss ya Bhavin!!!

Hypocrite is on his own phone to record the whole thing too. Youngster jumped right up to help, that’s a good worker at heart. Guide the young man, don’t break him.

You don't ever disrespect another man's tools on the jobsite. You owe that kid $200.

Dude goes out on a "smoke break" but instead of smoking takes a breather while checking his phone. And his boss instead of asking him nicely to come back, acts like a child and nails his tool belt to the carcass of a wall...

Id look at him plainly and tell him you're either giving me $200, driving to home depot and buying me a new one worth $200 or im getting $200 value from you and you're not gonna like how i value $200.

I worked for an electric company in MS, and I was there for a few months. I started when I was 20 and I’m 22 now, but when I started there was another kid who was 17 still in high school who started the same day as me. My first week went good, I was getting used to the slander that “everyone” gets unless you know someone or someone knows your dad because elders look at who you know and not how you work. This high school kid is getting it a lot more than me I noticed and he’s just a quiet kid trying to learn a trade, a real keep to him self ( a lot like me in high school ) so I kinda had a soft side for him and would buy him lunch and energy drinks to just help him out just as I needed. This kids 3rd week our boss (which was a dick head and had the company because daddy handed it to him) had told us to take a 15 min break because it was 103° and we are crawling thru attics. So we go take our break and we come back and our boss at the time had gotten the kids tools and threw them all in the room he was wiring. And our boss said it was “to teach him a lesson about leaving his tools and bag” I then seen the kid literally suck up a fucking tear and say “yes sir” and proceed to pick up all his tools. He ruined this kids want to be an electrician, and this kid had heart and never told me no any time I asked him to do something and he never gave it a second thought unless he didn’t know and he would ask. Some elders in these trades are so used to breaking people that they never get the potential and effort out of there employees. Be happy that these kids now days are even wanting to work with there hands and get dirty and sacrifices at a young age, when Walmart starts out like $18.50 right now (depends on where you’re located), but if you have a youngster guide the mf don’t break him because eventually you’re gonna need a “youngster” to step in so maybe instead of lesson leavers we have teachers to show us to do it right and keep us wanting to come work for you.

"So why'd the new guy quit?"

"He left his bag on the ground and i caught him on his phone."

"Oh, so then I assume you confronted him about the dangers of leaving his bag on the ground and how if he wants to be paid for a whole shift he needs to work the whole shift. Surely you acted like an adult man and tried to teach him how things are done instead of doing something childish and stupid."

"I used a nail gun to nail his tool bag to the walls we are setting up"

"So instead of acting like a resonable adult you decided to waste time and resources to damage someone's personal property and now we are down a man and we need to waste more time taking the tool bag and nails out of the wall and risk being sued for willfuly damaging somones personal property."

"It was to teach him a lesson he'd never forget"

"The only lesson that was taught was you teaching me that immature children can go up looking like 40 year old morons like yourself."

"I recorded the whole thing amd om gonna put it on the internet. Surly they ll have my back and think i did nothing wrong."
