Never heard the song before Voiceplay did it and never saw Stranger Things. It never matters, because it's Voiceplay. They are so wonderful!
When the beat boxing stopped and Layne was singing, it was wonderful that he had the lead in that section. His baritone is SO sweet!!

Stranger Things is a very good sci-fi series. Netflix carries it and I do recommend the teens that play the main characters in it. The last bit of VPs version pays a major tribute to the show.

Ashley Diane has been a great guest singer with VoicePlay. You really need to see her in We Don't Talk About Bruno, where she and Geoff briefly have the same wardrobe. 🤣Rich Man/Rich Girl was her first appearance with the guys and she was awesome. She's also done some minis with them. This was one of the first videos filmed in PattyCake's new studio location.

If you want to get an idea of life in the US in the 80s, absolutely watch Stranger Things. Minus the horror aspects. It is a great amalgamation of all the different horror/sci fi movies of the 80s/early 90s into the story. It is definitely worth it.

Okay, so not my favorite from VoicePlay. The harmonies are (as usual) great. Particularly the segment where she 'levitates.' Ashley is (as usual) a great singer, and I love their collaborations. What struck me the most about this piece was the vocal percussion. Lane is amazing. Between his arrangements and his beatboxing (not to mention his great voice), he deserves a Grammy just for being HIMSELF! I liked your reaction even though I wasn't 'blown away' by the song.
