It’s shocks me how unbothered the young generation is with killing and violence, given that anyone born in the last 20 years experienced unprecedented peace, safety, and economic abundance. I grew up during a time when murder, violence, and crime was out of control in a city where it was common. Then came record low crime, literally 0 murders in most cities, and very sparse violence. It’s crazy to see how such a coddled, soft and cushy generation is now spawning that same violence we all suffered through years back and worked so hard to eradicate. You would think a generation who experienced nothing but luxury would be terrified in these times, I don’t know perhaps since they never experienced real violence until this last year they think it’s like a video game
