1:54 - International Relations Course Structure - The international relations program has four modules in the first year. Two are pre-determined – HY 116 - International History since 1890 and IR 100 – concepts of International Relations. The third course can be chosen from a group of 3 and he chose Introduction to Political theory Machiavelli, Hobbes and Locke. The fourth module is flexible and can be taken from any of the courses that LSE offers – he chose to study Economics. In the second year, he took half a unit of Math and half a unit of Statistics for his optional course. In the third year he wants to take FM 212 – Principles of Finance for his optional course.
3:30 - Housing - for the first year is provided for. Going forward, most students take up an apartment. They can stay in Student Halls, like Urbanest Westminster, One in Kings Cross, Nido, International Hall, LSE Halls. He took an apartment. Websites called Zoopla, Gumtree, University of London Housing Services and the LSE Student Pad provide good options of houses available.
Work done once you take an apartment includes housing deposit, security deposit, payment of six months’ rent, signing a contract, signing a lease agreement, negotiating with the landlord etc.
5:46 - Societies and Activities - He is the treasurer of the Film society and is part of the Investment Society on the Special Projects Committee, the Consultancy Society. Wide array of societies are available.
