I was in Korea last week and asked a man for directions on the underground, he wasn’t sure so I said “thanks anyway” but he stopped me as I was walking off and he said “follow me” and took me to an underground map and wouldn’t leave until he worked out which route I needed to take. He even missed a train to help me out.

That last lady made me cry. I've been jobless for a while now and I feel so hopeless and horrible.

Not a similiar story, but when i was in South Korea i almost missed my flight because i took the wrong subway line. I asked a guy about it, and turned out he helped me out by leading me the way to go to right destination. On my way, we met a lady and he told the lady about my situation (in Korean), and the lady smiled at me, took my hand and lead me all the way until i arrived at the right destination. It was around 22.00 PM and she didn't speak english at all and i couldn't speak korean, we only spoke through eyes and smiles, even though we barely understood each other languages, she still wanted to help me out! In the end, i was able to catch my flight. I remember when i was about to go, she held my hand and smiled, i almost cried and hugged her. I couldn't believe I'd receive such a big help from a total stranger. I said thank you so many times, and she smiled and waved. I won't forget that lovely lady and that man. Their kindness will forever lingers within me, and inspires me to give the exact act of kindness to everyone even though they are strangers.
