they are actually the janitors that worked there but William needed back up so he used them for to go on stage wearing the springlock suits but it went wrong a kid tripped on janitor 1 (bonnie shadow) foot and the other lured kids to the backroom to then play games with them but one time they walked in with a kid as William was killing them and then shadow Freddy got springlocked… I’m still not sure if shadow Freddy was a janitor or not tho

So I think that Shadow bonnie and Freddy were sent by William because their goals were:
Kill Jeremy Fitzgerald (failed).
Kill any FFS subscribers who collect Dark Remnant (failed).

Shadow bonnie had also some powers which are:
Teleportation
Umbrakinesis (the ability to mentally generate and manipulate darkness, the absence of light)
Hallucination powers

The shadow animatronics were sent for:
To collect dark remnant from players
Psychological torture
Stalking
Murder (possibly)


For people who don't know what dark remnant is:
Dark Remnant are emotions. The reason why it is dark is because, it is purely a negative emotion. The more negative, the more powerful it is. In FNaF AR, Shadow Bonnie is summoned when you collect a lot of Dark Remnant, as he is made from it.
