The focus ring in my old Non-ai Nikon NIKKOR 105mm 1:2.5 was a little stiff, so in PART 1. I show how to disassemble it and clean the helicoid's with Isopropylalcohol 99%.

And in this film, that is PART 2. I will show you how I re-lube the helicoid's with the GRADE #10 grease and then assemble it again.

First I have to thank you for showing us the way, well done!
I just did my slightly older (Nikkor-P age) 105/2.5, with the scalloped focusing ring, and it is basically the same as this one.
I also used the #10 grease and It's much better now: it focuses with just one finger.

btw, I just barely managed to stay away from Hellicoid ;)
