I’d honestly look at some of the people listed here making negative remarks against him and look at their personal track record and ask if they really have the grounds to be too critical. Bon Jovi isn’t everybody’s cup of tea musically but the man has done a lot of good things for others. He’s been married to his HS sweetheart, he’s had a stable family, he’s not been in and out of rehabs multiple times, he’s not crashing cars or causing harm, etc. Add to that he’s been at the helm of a band that has had more commercial success than many of these people making negative remarks. Kinda seems more like personal/professional jealousy than legitimate criticisms.

Every big band that they were ever compared to hates them it’s just jealousy the fact that Bon Jovi kept going strong while most these other bands crashed out.
Also Bon Jovi didn’t hate grunge in fact him and Richie loved the new sound at the time. With both saying great things about bands such as nirvana and Alice In Chains. Jon even wrote a song and sent it to Kurt s daughter after he had died called lonely at the top trying to comfort her in her time of grief

Aside from that everyone of these artists that are complaining about Bon Jovi have crashed burned and are no longer relevant. However, John Bon Jovi is a humanitarian. I would love to know what happened between Jon and Richie Sambora. I heard the whole "he just didnt show up" for a concert one night story but i think its way more than that. Theres no band "BonJovi" without Richie Sambora, its just "Jon BonJovi and musical friends". Im glad Jon finally stopped touring, his voice is completely shot anymore.
