This is an excellent video explaining all the steps. I just changed my CRV headlights, I am not mechanically inclined. It took me 2 hours going slow. My advice, you should get a new set of bumper fasteners (about 10) because when you are removing the bumper many fasteners are bridle and cracked by time and vibration. Second, spray DW-4 on all the nuts 5 minutes before you try to remove them. Most of them are rusty. I did my work on a flat surface, I don't have a lift, so get a chair and something soft where you are going to place your knees.

Y’all.. this video describes removing and replacing the entire headlight assembly. You can replace the light bulbs with the assembly in the car. The indicator light is pretty tight to get to, but it’s possible. It’s very easy to do the main headlight/high beam bulb. I did it just now with the assembly in the car.

Thank you so much for making this video. It only took me 2 hours and zero cussing! I’m handy, but definitely no body guy or mechanic.
Fearing a costly body shop bill, I’ve been polishing my originals for years with mixed results. I never even considered DIY replacement until I saw you demonstrate how simple it is. Agree with others it’s a ridiculous process compared to older cars, but I’d do this again.

I just swapped my nieces headlights out for LEDs on her 09. This guy is extra about this process. You don't need to take apart anything. Just pop the rubber cap off and replace them. You won't have as much space to work around but it's still totally doable and way worth not talking 20 mins of disassembling the vehicle.

Thanks for the video! I successfully removed the old headlights and installed new ones on my 2008 CRV and it looks great! I had to replace some of the push clips with ones that I found on Amazon. Also, removing the bumper was a bit of a challenge. You have to give it a good firm pull once you've removed all the bolts and push clips as demonstrated in the video.
