How AMWAY AFFECTED Chris Watts and Shannan Watts | ANTIMLM

Le-Vel Thrive was not Shanna's first multilevel marketing company. Shanann was part of Amway as early as 2008 through at least 2013. Specifically, she sold Artistry which is Amway's beauty brand.

The tactics Amway uses no doubt impacted Shannan and subsequently Chris.

In this video, I share the relationship of personal development in Amway and to Shannan.

No blame is cast on Shanann at all. She was a victim to the fantasy multilevel marketing companies sell you--time freedom and financial freedom.

This series on the Watts is so amazing. So many people refuse to discuss Shanan in anything other than a positive light, but the brutal reality is that these MLMs were a huge influence on their marriage. We can say that WITHOUT placing the blame on her.

You present the facts with respect, and you make it very clear that you're in no way excusing Chris' actions. But the sad truth is that we can infer these countless MLMs were a large factor with their marital problems.

I grew up with my parents pursuing one MLM after another: Amway, Olde World, Melaluca, Pola, Herba Life🙄However, my parents also had full time jobs. They left each of these ventures because they are psychopaths who make you spend money on all this junk and alienate your friends as you try to sell or recruit them into the marketing. It was awful. Shannan had all the personality traits of these grifters: the nervous laugh, the hype over each protein bar being AMAZING🙄 She seemed annoying as hell

This makes the fact that C. Watts tossed that self help book about relationships right in the trash hit a LOT different.

Don't get me wrong, he's still trash that belongs in Forever Prison. Having said that, this paints a much more complete picture of how this whole thing screamed into a brick wall.

I think SW was drowning with thrive. She was completely obsessed with it and her whole life revolved around it. This deeply affected her finances, marriage, every aspect of her life. Poor girl

I think Shanan had a disadvantage because she never went to college and did not have the confidence to pursue something like a real estate license. She would have been great as a realtor.

Amway, Monat, Doterra, Young Living, Usborne, Le-Vel, Origami Owl, Younique, Lularoe, Itworks, Thirty One and Rodan & Fields are the mlms I have heard of that she threw money at. Now that mascara one you said makes 13. Crazy.
