How to Change the Code on a Schlage Lock

Is this Alex Jones teaching me how to change my schlage lock?

Simplified:
-Input 6 digit code thats on the inside of locking system
-Then press the top button
-then press 2
-then input old code you wish to delete
-then input it again
-then re input 6 digit code
-then press 1
-then I put new code you wish to have
-then Input it again
Then the new passcode should be set !

I entered my programming code hit the Schlage button then entered my current passcode then #2 did that twice then to erase it then

Enter your programming code
hit the Schlage button
Hit #1
Enter new desired code
Enter it again no need to push the 1 anymore
Should flash green
You are set now try it with someone to see if it worked on your end

Why is everyone crying just start the video from 2:35, the 6 digit code is your programming code, you’ll find it inside the lock on the keypad side or in the Manual.

Thanks, I lost the instructions to change pins! You can change the 6 digit pin also, but I forget how you do it, but did that when I first installed my Schlage lock a year ago. It’s nice to be able to change the pins to enter in case you want to temporarily add one for somebody you know to get access. I forget how many pins you can have but it’s a few
