After so long, the record remains of an almost poignant beauty. Like a sublimation of the more reflective and contemplative soul of Faithless, stripped of Trance and House rhythms, and of the energy of breakbeats. The preeminent mood is dreamy, the protagonist here seems to be the memory, managing to be wise and childlike at the same time.
This is not an album of singles, but a Opera that must be listened carefully from beginning to end, enjoying its melodies and electronic refinements.

I bought this on first release and I am so glad I have a physical copy. Thanks for uploading this musical anomaly, we, as a friendship group blissed out to this album, on repeat, at all the right times and feel a great fondness for it to this day. The re-recording in 05 didn’t quite match the original version. Timeless stuff ❤
