How to Install FASTBOOT and ADB using Android Studio on Windows PC

Google recently changed it’s “Android ADT Bundle” or “Android SDK Tools” to “Android Studio“.

In this video, I’ll show you how to install fastboot and adb using the new “Android Studio” without actually having to download the large 828 MB studio package, which you don’t need. This tutorial is for Windows PC's

there is no sdkmanager.exe in the version i downloaded there are 2 emulator files only

ive tried this over 500 hundred times! this is so aggravating!

when I open SDK manager, nothing comes up, just a command prompt window that immediately disappears.

This unit has made this procedure plus 5 trials with different people. with the options you indicate were made and remained the same in google play blocked edition, by chance there is another step that a longer overlooked

THE PROCESS DOESNT WORK !!!
i tried this but it does not list any of the devices please help it is connected properly because it says when i plug it in "USB debugging connected" and i can access the files of the phone on my computer.

Thank you man. You save my ass. I download the quick boot app and press fastboot. I can not go out of the fastboot mode.

sakitech the step after you move the platform tools to your desktop and rename it fastboot adb, when i hold shift and right click i do not get the open command prompt here, what do i do, how do i fix this?
