If you were there before RDR2 the RDR1 story hit different. John’s past and the Van Der Linde gang were so mysterious. Left so much to the imagination. I remember standing on the river next to John’s crib thinking damn I wonder what’s all over there. That’s sum 80% of rdr2 players will never feel cuz everyone started meat riding red dead after 2 dropped 😴before 2, rdr was very niche.
