Brompton release new colours and specs in the autumn each year - and our first bike with the new specs just arrived - so we thought we would unbox and see what changes there are for this year

So glad I got my P-Line when they first came out. I was lucky to get the aero rims before they switched to non aero. This current crop seems more like a downgrade with the plastic levers. Love your videos - very informative.

Seriously, thanks for this review. I hope Brompton is taking notes from your video and rethink the plastic hinge clamp and rear level. What a crime to do this on a 3K bike. @.police 😂

I love my P Line 4 speed. I think it’s probably the best purchase I’ve ever made. All I’ve changed are the Continental tyres for Schwalbe marathon tour plus. The rest is as spec and I find that more than good enough.

My favourite colour was the flame lacquered and was so pleased I managed to get one on Saturday. It looks beautiful. Shame about the boring old mens choice of grey and black bags to go with it.

Amazing choices by Brompton. If at all (not), I could see this on the A Line, maybe even on the C Line but not on the P Line. Unless P stands for Profit now, at Brompton... Do the aero rims bring anything else besides different valves? 🤷‍♂

Hah, weird decision on that plastic levers, oh well. And flame laquer was pretty beautiful color.

Thanks for the review, sad to see off the box there are already broken parts…. Perhaps a G line may be a better option as it’s not plastic yet?

Brompton however boggles my mind. They could have even hidden cheaping out on the lever if they would have upgraded the hingeclamp in one swoop.
Not my problem though as I am happy in the now exclusive flamy club

Strangely, there isn't any new colour to replace the flame lacquer. Perhaps Brompton has spent all their time on the G-line...and lost the flaming passion for their P-line series.

Yes I understand the relationship with Velcro a very binding feeling especially with the song = Let’s Stick Together = Bryan Ferry . Is it possible for the G-line Triangle to fit the C- line, thanks awfully for reading.

Why couldn’t they just use the C-line clamp - would have taken a few grams off yet kept durability. As for the various rims - that now requires a new video 😂 thanks for the update

I went to a Danish Bikeshop during High COVID-19 and found my lovely "Top, flame-painted Superlight" the most attractive, so I "Invested" in one, for the saved Vacation Money. I was sadly never allowed to take it home in a box, to be able to - try to make a bike out of what was inside (IKEA are known for missing parts, if true or not?)! But I honestly can't imagine degrading the bikes and adding a high number of different wheels for the different models, will be of any profit for the Factory? Danish LEGO are known for high quality and not for cutting corners, when possible! Finn. Denmark
