Installing your hubcaps is the most important thing to know if you want to keep them on! Almost 100% of missing hub caps are due to improper installation and whether the fault lies with you or your mechanic, we can teach you the right way to install your wheel covers and center caps! After watching our video, you won't have to keep replacing your missing hub caps and spending unnecessary money.

With this particular task, there are some tools required, one you might already have and one that our company sells to make hubcap installation simple for everyone. Depending on the type of center caps you have on your vehicle, of which there are three, you will need a lug wrench to tighten the bolts of your hubcap or you can use our hubcap tool to get the job done correctly. As shown in the video, there are three types of hubcaps: bolt on, pop on and screw on. The simplest hubcap to install is the pop on and will only require our special hubcap tool or a soft rubber mallet to tap the center caps into place. With the other two options, a lug wrench is needed to tighten the lug nuts on your wheel cover so that there is no danger of them falling off while you're driving.

Although this is a very easy process that only takes a few minutes to learn to do properly, we still want to encourage everyone out there watching to be careful and follow all of our instructions completely to avoid any kind of injury. It is also important to remember that it is up to you to make sure that no one uses an impact wrench to install your hub caps, ever. The reason for this is that using that tool when installing hubcaps can strip the threading on the lug nuts and will cause you to lose it the very next time you hit a little bump in the road. As always, if anyone has any questions, our staff is here to help you, just call our toll free number provided at the bottom. Thank you again!

Thank you from a woman learning to do these things for herself. I thought there would be directions with the hub caps but this was far better than written directions. Easy with the pop on. Didn't have the tool used here but soft mallet worked just fine.

I bought two replacement hub caps from a competitor and one tab was broken....they were nice enough to replace it free of charge but with no mounting instructions. I found your video, watched it and all went perfect. If i need hub caps in the future i will definitely buy from your company....many thanks

This video was very helpful for me to understand the installation of a 2010 Ford Fusion wheel cover. If you live in the Evil Empire State, NY, you'll need this knowledge since the constantly potholed highways and roadways will eventually cause them to fall off.

Most hubcaps with broken clips, are usually opposite of the valve hole, that I found. In northern ontario, canada, improper installation would be second to why they would fall off. Terrible roads and potholes shake off even the bolt on caps! Nothing escapes!

If there is a small crack opening between the pop hubcap and steel rim and I did just like how you said, it should be alright, right?

Ok so I need to put a pop on hubcap back on but my hubcap tool does not have that "hammer" part of it. Is there something else I should use to I don't ruin my hubcap?

I have a 2007 dodge caliber with stock hub caps. They are the type in which the lug nuts actually screw into. Can I replace them with the type of hub caps shown in this video or can I only use the stock screw in kind. Help

What tool could I use to tap the pop cap on if I don't have the one the guy uses in the video? Thanks!

what do you do if your hubcap is a little loose? I put one on and you can twist it back and forth but it's still pretty hard to pull off.
