Mini Monday! | Taylor GS Mini Mahogany

It's Miniature Monday! In today's episode Ben and Noah play through one of Taylor's offerings in the travel-sized - 3/4 sized guitars with the GS Mini! They chose the Mahogany version for it's rich and warm tone to complement it's surprisingly boomy and open sound from such a small body. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better sounding 3/4 size guitar on the market than the GS Mini from Taylor. These guitars can accompany you anywhere from the couch to center stage, the campfire to the studio, and will more than hold up it's own with other acoustic players.

I got a GS Mini Mahogany last summer and I absolutely love it. The store in CT where I bought it had a variety of wood varieties but I thought the Mahogany sounded best and from what I've read, that's the general consensus.

Nice demo both… this guitar is currently on my ‘when do I pull the trigger’ list… just tried one and really liked it.

They sound good. At only 2 inches shorter in scale than full sized acoustic, that is not 3/4 scale. It is more like 7/8 scale. 3/4 is more like the Baby Taylor. Musicians are not math guys.

In my opinion Taylor Gs Mini Rosewood is better than others wood for worm, deep, sweet and clean sound.

Mahagony for the solo and spruce (regular) mini for the rythm would be even more beautiful.

Suenan muy bonito pero son muy pequeñas, incomodas y por ser de escala corta las cuerdas suelen ser más tensionadas y cabe decir que son acuáticas y no electroacústica aunque si existe una versión así solo que toca tenerlo muy en cuenta.
