I love the way he kinda drops the act in the snowgrave route, once he realizes something is seriously wrong he prioritizes Noelle over everything. You can tell even tho he acts like a prick around people, he does care.

Honestly, I always loved him. He's such a narcissistic smartass at the beginning, and i love him for that. But in general, though, I do like his character arc, and him genuinely cares about Noelle despite not understanding her fully is pretty sweet.

I relate very heavily to Berdly's unhealthy struggle for academic validation and how good it feels when you finally let go of that to balance your priorities more on friendships and working on yourself. I'm gonna lose my shit when I finally see Berdly again in future chapters and get to see his character development and his antics as a newly reborn stupid person, a truly based and epic gamer

People are so eager to dislike him that they completely twisted that scene in their minds. (I am talking about "kiss from a gamer girl" scene).
He literally mumbles that line and after being called out, gets awkward and apologizes.
Somehow people read it as a harassment, when it's actually "A 14 year-old tries to initiate flirting and fails miserably".

Like Queen puts it, "theres nothing actually wrong with him hes just annoying". He's not even annoying enough to be actually annoying imo, he's at the right level where he's instead extremely funny to the player. Love his theme, can somewhat relate to his story, even, and hes overall definitely not a negative addition. Not my favorite character or anything, but he's pretty much in the same boat as Rouxls or Queen where it's a joy to see him.

Something I think about with Berdly is that we're still pretty much at the start of his Character arc.
I doubt going forward he's going to be as important or prevalent as Noelle, but he's still going to show up (obviously) and still going to develop as a person. He's started on that journey but it's a journey he's still on and likely will continue to be on for the next few chapters.

I really liked him from the beginning of chapter 2. Relatable in some ways, funny, annoying but in a good way, interesting relationships with the rest of the group, banger battle music...
