First thing he should have yelled to Shimano support was “SPD” or “Keo” and a bike size, “56”. Shimano was just trying to help. He was childish.

A bit of respect for the Shimano team and their equipment they don't actually have to give him anything.

This is top frustration. He was in the lead group and very strong
. After this he jumped back to the lead group again so without the faillure he had a good change that day to win a stage.

His behaviour is no good, but the frustration is understandable.

They tried to help him, but that's not his team car; they got what they got.

After he slammed the first bike, instead of scurrying to get another, Shimano should just say no bike for you.

Have some respect for other peoples property...

How do they know which pedal system he has? Supposedly, even riders of the same team can have different cleats?

This is just high anxiety and adrenaline. If he's catching a neutral service bike, his team car was way back. He was probably in the lead group and lost his shot at a stage win or his ability to help a teammate.

I understand his anger. Nevertheless, he throws Equipment around, which many people would be incredibly happy about :(

Reminds me of the Mavic neutral team support car in the TDF a couple years ago. Someone actually tried to use it, but could not, as it turns out, no one in the pro peloton uses mavic pedals, and so the bikes were unusable

You would think they would color code the neutral service bikes by size. And also find some way to identify pedals probably by color as well.

White Small Frame 50-52
Blue Medium Frame 54-56
Black Large Frame 58-60

That was utterly stupid and disrespectful of him.

Wrong pedals on bike one. Too low of a saddle on bike two. Bike three: I don’t know. Very frustrating as the team car was trapped behind the main peloton.

It seems some people dont understand why others are disagreeing with this guys actions. I remember watching this and getting a good laugh at the whole situation, but also felt bad for the guy and for the guys that he embarrassed, but was shocked to see him throw the bike into the van! I understand he worked hard and wanted to win. But you dont get to just throw things at other people's property and tell people off who are trying to help you, and who arent even on your own team. (I wonder, did he yell at his team like that when they got there ?) He made himself look bad on this one.

Hell-Of-a-FRAGRANCE, DONT FORGET TO RACE FOR SPRINT

Unpopular opinion incoming…

Flat pedals for the win 😝
I’d probably go clipless if I was racing but I don’t, I use my road bike for fitness and adventures and I don’t really want to be walking around in clipless shoes or carrying a second pair of shoes if I wana take a walk around what ever location I’ve ridden to. The right shoes with the right pedals and you’ll have great grip you can also move your feet around on the pedals without having to stop and adjust your clips. To each their own though I guess, I definitely see why people would go clipless

Watched the beginning of the clip over and over… how do you explain the pedal rotating and the bike moving forward without a chain?

Dropping an expensive road bike on purpose is a no go zone 4me .
He might be super frustrated 😅😢 but still doesn't show respect 2 very very expensive equipment.
Don't like seeing this at all ...
